AREAS OF EXPERTISE
Steven completed his law degree at the University of Wales, Aberystwyth, and went on to complete the Legal Practice Course at the College of Law in Chester. He undertook his training contract at a reputable regional practice in north Wales where he qualified as a solicitor in 2009.
Since qualifying as a solicitor, Steven has specialised in Employment Law. He acts for companies of all sizes, directors, senior managers, trade unions and their members, and individual employees. He deals with a full range of employment related matters and has significant experience in relation to issues such as unfair dismissal; redundancy; all forms of discrimination including sex, race, disability, age and equal pay; whistleblowing; the transfer of undertakings (TUPE); settlement agreements; trade union disputes and most other areas of employment law.
Steven conducts his own advocacy at the Employment Tribunal in a range of employment cases up to and including the final hearing. He has also conducted presentations to groups of individuals on a number of employment related matters and is more than happy to provide training.
